We feel truly blessed to have found Jeannie and her husband at Elmswood Estate and to have had our wedding there. We found them to be generous, honest and very easy to deal with at all times leading up to the big day, and on the wedding day itself. They truly operated with honour and integrity and cared about our experience and our day. They were flexible when requested, and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure our day was magical. Nothing ever seemed too much of a hassle for them, and on such a big day, that was a godsend. The venue was beautifully presented and everything ran perfectly and seamlessly. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more and I would be delighted to have an event there again – especially a wedding anniversary!

We were recently married at your lovely venue and wanted to express to you, in writting our absolute delight with the efforts of your staff, especially Stephanie Cooksey. When we were first looking for a place to get married, Stephanie went out of her way to provide us with information and advice. We found her to be very friendly and we felt instantly relaxed around her. It is not an exaggeration to say that while your venue was stunning, the opportunity to have Stephanie look after our wedding tipped Elmswood over the top for us, and she was the primary reason that we booked in to get married there. A wedding is full of so many special moments and for us many of them were enhanced by her expert combination of professionalism and freindliness. WOW, what can we say? Congratulations to you and all your staff on an exceptional job on the occasion of Kate and Shane's wedding held on the 27/03/2010. Everything went so smoothly right from setting up of the tables on Friday to the girls guiding the wedding cars into place on the day. The views were amazing and the atmosphere so relaxing. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. All the guests commented on the fact they didn't have to ask for drinks to be topped up- it just happened. One of our guests, a great wine conesuer, was impressed with the quality and range of your wines and looks forward to returning on a Sunday for lunch and tasting. Well done! Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to hold a ceremony only at Elmswood?

Ceremony package offers up to 2 hours use of your choice of location on Elmswood property for your ceremony.

Do you cater for smaller weddings?

Our package prices are all based on a minimum of 80 guests. Smaller weddings can be catered for but at a higher per person cost. Price for under 80 guests available on application.

What time does reception start?

Reception generally goes from 6-11pm. Due to our alcohol license restriction, we cannot operate beyond 11pm. Beverage service will conclude at 10.30pm with the party ending at 11pm and guests vacating the property no later than 11.30pm.

Can we bring in our own caterers for our wedding function?

Only Elmwood’s catering partners have exclusive rights to using our fully fitted commercial kitchen.

Can we have an afternoon ceremony followed by reception?

Elmswood offers up to 1 hour of ceremony service with a simple setup of 20 white outdoor chairs and signingtable/barrel free of charge. Event extension is available at additional costs.

When can we start decorating the reception area?

The Pavilion will be cleared from weekend lunches by 3pm which is when your decorating team may come in and work their magic.

Is there parking on the property?
